- Captain Kidd: See this, lads? This is good King William's warrant. We sail under a letter of marque again, lads! Eh, only this time King William wants our help against the Algerian, uh, pirates. We can sack and pillage and burn to our hearts' content, lads! And as long as it is only pirates, they'll kiss us in London. How's that for a test to warm you innards?
- [first lines]
- Mr. Magoo: Ahoy, you landlubbers. It's time to watch old pirate Magoo star in Captain Kidd, a-a salty story filled to the gullet with pirates and buried treasure.
- Backer 2: So where is our percentage, Kidd? Are we or are we not partners?
- Captain Kidd: Aye, aye, in all ventures dealing with my letter of marque from his majesty, you are, indeed, my grasping, greedy partners, but my latest business dealing was a thing apart, gentlemen. I do not know what you have heard, nor do I intend to discuss it further, but rest assured, if it was business, we-heh, it was none of yours.
- [taking his leave]
- Captain Kidd: And... many thanks for the over-brewed coffee.
