The Tooting Connection
Prismark107 March 2021
Shirley's Dad is not happy. Someone has stolen hi fi gear from the factory he was meant to keep watch on.

While the factory was being robbed, he and the other security guards were playing pontoon. The robbers even waved at them as they drove by.

Dad does not realise that Wolfie's mate Speed was the thief. Tucker was the unwitting getaway driver.

The stolen gear is in Shirley's Dad house and he cannot spot it right under his nose.

Wolfie sells the hooky gear to Harry Fenning. Only for Speed to later steal his car. Now Wolfie has to hide out knowing Harry's goons will do serious damage to them.

John Sullivan's writing shines here. Dad complaining about the expired road tax in Tucker's van when he has let his expired.

Wolfie sending Ken and Tucker to team up with Speed to beat up Harry Fenning. When Speed demands a fourth person he has no hesitation in nominating Desiree.

There is a twist when Harry Fenning is actually pleased to see Wolfie and his car.
