Boyd is on the hunt for a present day killer, and James is the number one suspect.
It's graphic and violent from the very first scene, you forget sometimes that TV from 2005-2010 was nay more graphic and brutal than it has been for the last decade, they seemed to get away with so much more.
It's such a sad, and bleak story, not one to watch if you're a bit down, harrowing seeing James looking at his younger self. We seemed to be hearing so many horrific stories about people in care during this time, the story was so powerful.
The scene where James reads to the kids is a very memorable moment, the acting is so good, Nicholas Beveney is so very impressive here, The Fox's do a good job too.
The conclusion and revelation is perhaps the cruelest of all, it's inkeeping with the overall dark tone.
It's a very heavy two part story, but it holds up very well, 8/10.
