The super perfect London policeman
delaine-329 September 2007
I found this English film to be unbelievably humorous and at times, side-splittingly funny!. Brilliant writing! One must pay careful attention to every word, as many words (and actions) are incredibly subtle. This is a film that satirizes many older classic films, and an old film buff like myself was able to recognize many (but probably not all) of the rip-offs! Not only the story, but the manner of filming, the lighting and the camera angles were remarkable in their replication of earlier filming techniques.

Although I adore English films, and I even have some "Veddy" British relatives, some of the spoken parts were difficult to comprehend. I was forced to activate the "English subtitle" option in the bonus list.

Finally, though this film is a bit long, it's well worth the time, and I look forward to seeing it again. Jolly good show!

Warning: Spoilers
Truly memorable, a Brilliant film, and a credit to those who wrote, performed an directed it.

Class all round, even if many of those I sat with in a packed audience missed many of the jokes.

Worth watching time and time again, brilliant, innovative there's so much to see, so much to laugh at, so much of what is good about the UK industry.

In the future it will be seen as a classic, I'm sure, for now its the best I've seen for a long, long time, without doubt a rarity, a film you can sit through for 161 minutes and not feel the seats are killing you, you are just too busy laughing or waiting for the next joke, incredible.

10/10 isn't good enough it really isn't

hilarious action

the movie hot fuzz is absolutely perfect,it thrills the audience with action and strikes the audience with a great storyline.i love all the scenes and at some stages couldn't stop laughing, the main likable thing about the movie is how constable Nichols angel is so much better than Sergent butters, officer angel is punctual, clever, good at his job and is eventually transferred because he's so good now this is were the story becomes so action thrilled and exaggerated unusual, the town of Stanford is his new work station and he makes the town become perfect with almost every crime being committed stopped the day before he gets to work.

he solves murders as a detective should, pointing the finger at were to go.the movie is so good it clearly made my day and this is why i gave the movie the rating of 10 it is perfect and has a conscientious thought (told so well)but the scenes are so well structured the story becomes slightly delushioned and ambiguous, but it is this which builds up the momentum and comedy.

all in all there was very few faults with the film and i can hardly think of any improvements.

the main thing i liked about the film was how perfect the story was told and how the situation was planned through.

i really advise this movie to be viewed by all audiences as it contains more than one theme the main one in particular comedy they repeat the beginning at the end and do all the things that were thought of e.g.guns in the air pursuits with guns the film is just so perfect the story becomes slightly unimaginable and overwhelming best comedy/action film ever made
