- Mr. Window: Hey, Pee-wee. Can we keep the puppy?
- Pee-wee Herman: I don't know, Mr. Window. He probably belongs to somebody.
- Chairry: How are you going to know who he belongs to, Pee-wee?
- Pee-wee Herman: Hmm, I wish I knew, Chairry.
- Jambi: Wish? Did somebody say wish? Achoo!
- Pee-wee Herman: I did, Jambi. I wish the puppy had an identification tag so we can return him to his owner.
- Jambi: Achoo!
- Pee-wee Herman: Gesundheit.
- Jambi: Achoo! I'm sorry, Pee-wee. I'm allergic to puppies. They make me - achoo! - sneeze. Achoo! Achoo!
- Pee-wee Herman: Does that mean you can't grant my wish?
- Jambi: Achoo! I'd like to - Achoo! - but I just - achoo! - can't - achoo! - stop - achoo! - sneezing. ACHOO!
- [shakes uncontrollably and closes his box]
- Magic Screen: I think Pterri is jealous of Aloysius, Pee-wee.
- Pterri: I am not jealous. Mind your own business, you sassy screen.
- Pee-wee Herman: I think Magic Screen is right, Pterri. You shouldn't be jealous of the puppy. You're special in a different way.
- Magic Screen: That's right. The puppy can't fly.
- Pterri: That's right. I never thought of that.
- [Aloysius, the puppy runs up to Pterri and sniffs him]
- Pee-wee Herman: You see, Pterri? The puppy likes you.
- Pterri: He does? Well, I like him too. I'll teach him how to fly. It's easy.
- Randy: Heh, why don't you just keep the puppy, Pee-wee.
- Pee-wee Herman: I can't, Randy. He doesn't belong to me.
- Randy: Well, you like him, don't you?
- Pee-wee Herman: Sure I do.
- Randy: So, finders keepers, losers weepers.
- Pee-wee Herman: But, Randy, somebody's probably out looking for him right now. I know I'd want him returned to me if I lost him.
- Randy: Heh, if they were dumb enough to lose him, you should let 'em suffer.
- [as the King of Cartoons leaves the Playhouse, he spots a puppy at the front door]
- King of Cartoons: Well, hello there. I didn't know you had a puppy, Pee-wee.
- Pee-wee Herman: Neither did I. That's because I don't have a puppy.
- King of Cartoons: Then who does this little fellow belong to?
- Pee-wee Herman: Gosh, I don't know. He must be lost.
- [Pee-wee is on the picture phone with Mrs. Rene]
- Mrs. Rene: Oh! What a cute puppy!
- [laughs joyfully]
- Pee-wee Herman: Oh, thanks. He's not yours, is he?
- Mrs. Rene: No. Why? Is he lost? The poor darling!
- Pee-wee Herman: Mm-hmm. What do you think I should do?
- Mrs. Rene: I know what to do. I found a lost puppy once myself. Will put some signs up in the neighborhood, and I'll make a few phone calls. Don't worry, Pee-wee. The owners will find him, and when they do, they'll come right over.
- [everyone screams]
- Pee-wee Herman: Thanks, Mrs. Rene.
- [hangs up]
- Globey: What if Mrs. Rene can't find the puppy's real home, Pee-wee?
- Pee-wee Herman: Then I guess we'll be able to keep him, Globey.
