- Cowboy Curtis: Wo, it sure is a pretty day today. Hey, Pee-wee?
- Pee-wee Herman: Yep, sure is pretty. It's spring.
- Cowboy Curtis: Yeah, the time of year when all kinds of good things begin.
- [everyone screams]
- Cowboy Curtis: Yeehaw! Boy, when I come to the Playhouse, it sure don't take long for the fun to begin.
- [everyone screams again]
- [Cowboy Curtis gives Pee-wee some seeds]
- Pee-wee Herman: These aren't magic seeds, are they?
- Cowboy Curtis: Why, all seeds are magic, Pee-wee.
- Pee-wee Herman: They are?
- Magic Screen: But not all screens are magic, are they?
- Cowboy Curtis: Why no, Magic Screen. Uh, you're the only magic screen I know of.
- Magic Screen: Oh, that's a load off of my screen.
- Pee-wee Herman: Sure is a beautiful day outside. It feels like spring, my favorite season.
- Chairry: Do you like spring better than summer, Pee-wee?
- Pee-wee Herman: Uh-huh.
- Mr. Window: Do you like spring more than autumn, Pee-wee?
- Pee-wee Herman: As a matter of fact, I do, Mr. Window.
- Globey: Winter is kind of fun, Pee-wee. It has Christmas in it.
- Pee-wee Herman: Oh. Well, I know, but I still like spring best.
- Chairry: How come, Pee-wee?
- Pee-wee Herman: Well, spring gives me a great feeling, Chairry. It's when all the flowers start to grow, and the airsmells fresh. Ha ha! It's the time when nature gives everything a brand new start. Hmm, I like spring. In fact, I love spring, but I'm not going to marry it.
