- Beginning of the journey in Fort Williams: Philipe takes the "Jacobite" , the train of Harry Potter, to Mallaig: on board a lot of fans of Harry Potter,and a great moment: the crossing of the Glenfinnan Viaduct.Then Philippe goes to Dingwall and meets the butcher who prepare haggis, a man with a great sense of humor who doesn't want to tell Philippe his secrets.Philippe tastes the haggis and found it very good.Then Philippe takes the train to Elgin: talk with the passengers about the weather in Scotland.Then Philippe sees the Highland Games: bands with men in kilt, traditional dances, caber toss (a big log), tug o' war, hammer throw.Then Philippe travels from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh and then to the island of Skye.He can see seals and later meets a man doing offering to the fairies (oat and honey).An inner voice has told this man that he is a druid.Philippe speaks with him about the magic of Scotland (the ancestors are present in the nature, the fairies are living with us).Then Philippe is in Edinburgh, and sees how people spit on the pavement or touch the hand of the philosopher Hume, later Philippe visits the grave of John Gray and that one of Boby , the dog who stayed for 14 years living on the grave of his owner after his death.Philippe tastes some beers in a pub (there are about 700 pubs in Edinburgh).Finally Philippe travels to Inverness. he has an interesting talk with Young Scottish men and also with an English lady about the relationships between English people and the Scots : then Philippe goes to the Loch Nessie; there a man with big binoculars is trying to see "Nessie" in the waters of the lake, a man who is living since 24 years at the shore of the lake and also sells souvenirs to the tourists.—zutterjp48
