Best episode of the season so far
georgebarnes-057092 March 2020
The best episode of the season so far. This will definitely be Annie Murphy's Emmy submission as this episode has surely secured her an Emmy nomination. Loved the writing and direction. Catherine O'Hara was great as usual

Who needs comedy when heartstrings are being pulled.

Warning: Spoilers
This season hasn't seen as much comedy as the past 5 have, however watching each character grow and develop in their individual peculiar way has been an absolute pleasure to watch. This episode compiles each and every emotion a pure relationship entails and delivers it in an impactful and highly personal experience. A proud moment for Schitts Creek.

That surprised the Schitt out of me.

Warning: Spoilers
It took me six seasons of the same comedy, facial expressions and annunciations to finally know what to expect each episode... and just when they reeled me in, they throw in the breakup scene of the decade and make a thirty something year old man lose it.

Well played.

What a great episode for Alexis' character growth

Warning: Spoilers
Getting closer to the end of this amazing show & I'm not emotionally ready to say goodbye but this episode was so great to see Alexis' character growth with Ted. That would've been handled so very immature in the past but a beautiful goodbye for the two as Ted can't pass up his dream job & Alexis can't leave what she's building. Their love was real & they really did help each other get to this point. The official opening of the new motel adds some great humour with Johnny & Roland yet again meanwhile Patrick gets an unfortunate tan for some pre wedding photos!

Very good
FilmBuff040927 February 2020
This was a very good episode. Tugged the heartstrings and it ended in such an unexpected way that was very moving. But I have to say, where is the comedy in this season?! I have only laughed a handful of times, whereas in the earlier seasons I couldn't stop. This show has lots to address but the great comedy it is known for shouldn't be sacrificed in the process.

Either way this was a highlight episode for not only the season but the entire series. Well done.

I loved how Alexis' character turned out... specially when we see the flashback to season one, how could one not cry.

Long-distance and Presidential Suite In Motel
vivianla1 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Ted has come back from the Galapagos to visit Alexis. Alexis immediately wants sex so they do so before talking.

David wants wedding photos but they are to be done by Ray, who has a tacky taste for mousepads and fake backgrounds.

David tells Patrick to go to the spa appointment he made for him to get a massage and spray tan because he looks anemic next to David.

Johnny, Moira, Roland do a ribbon cutting ceremony or tried to while Jocelyn has her eyes covered but she removes it. They all enter the presidential suite, the biggest room.

Patrick and Stevie come back from the spa and Stevie has a lovely tan. Patrick looks like a cheese puff. He is now too tanned. Patrick told them to get it done like how David does it but David says why did you do that?! I'm practically Sicilian Italian.

Moira is unhappy that Johnny does not want to use the suite for a getaway and because that room is much bigger. Johnny gives in and as they set the mood with music and alcohol, the Schitts come with their baby. Roland suggests they take the Roses place for their stay. Roland says it will be like switching wives lol.

Alexis has prepared a night at the restaurant for Ted and her. Alexis wears a floor-length light pink dress. Ted comes in with facial hair and wears brown tones. They break up and kiss each other.

Not sure why they broke up
habylab8 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I know Ted has a 2 (or was it 3) year contract, but I don't get why they both agreed (without saying anything) to break up? People go to uni for that length of time and stay together if they love each other. They could see each other a few times a year, keep the calls going. Found that sad, but there we go.

Otherwise, brilliant episode.

Quintessential Catherine O'Hara
jenny45197519 April 2021
I adore Catherine O'Hara... and Eugine Levy.... but I have been waiting 6 seasons for some vintage CO and "it's like trying to force oneself through the eye of a needle!" ... I will go insane and I will take you with me... we'll just tell your mother we ate it all.... Seriously, They had as much fun creating that scene as i did watching it.

Say Goodbye
Hitchcoc11 July 2021
This is a very poignant episode, especially as it relates to Alexis. She comes into her being in this one and Annie Murphy really shows her stuff. She can't go with the sure thing because she is more than that. There is the ribbon cutting.for the new motel and some very funny byplay with David doing more wedding planning.
