The Outlaw Son is a film about about those long moments spent sitting on the precipice of adulthood. The story concerns a young man returning from a trip abroad; he calls an old friend to pick him up from the airport, and together they spend a long, cold night driving around, listening to music and remembering how things might have been. Multiple cuts of the film exist, ranging from five to thirty minutes, each portraying a different perspective of the same story.
