- Sex References and implied Sex (meaning no shown sex). Certain teenagers may take this type of teenage behavior seriously. This said unless your child is old enough to understand that this type of teenage behavior is not good.
- British girls study their American roommate commenting on her likeliness to have had sex before using veiled slang. ("Do you think she's done it?") They then ask her how many she's 'shagged' to which she reels of a list of boys.
- A later scene reveals her saying all this to be a lie and she's in actual fact virtually 'a nun'.
- A fellow schoolgirl comments on wanting an outfit that says she is 'slutty and available'.
- A girl is lying net to a boy(they are both naked) while she is reading a text message. She makes fun of it and then the boy and girl kiss(sex is implied).
- Schoolgirls dance in a sexual way during a party.
- A girl comments on a boy being sent to an all-boys school after being caught playing doctor.
- A young girl asks another girl if British girls shave down below.
- a schoolgirls telephone number is put up in a phone booth on a flier as a sex chatline, she is seen to be getting increasingly uncomfortable when she innocently answers her phone and starts to describe the clothes she is wearing.
- Poppy comments jokingly that she needs to be taken to bed and that the popular boy (who all the girls like) can take her.
- Some of the girls discuss what they think Poppys sexual experiences have been, naming two sex positions.

- In a wild prank with her friends, Poppy ruins all her father's girlfriend's belongings.
- Poppy trips and hits her head which leads Freddie to take the concussed Poppy outside for air where he attempts to kiss her, but is caught by Harriet's followers.
- Two girls have a a revenge in hockey. When they both fall they begin hitting each other with their hockey sticks. They are then interrupted.

- Mention of the Poppy's mother who had died .
- Poppy starts playing with her lighter and accidentally sets a curtain on fire. Hearing footsteps, she quickly puts out the fire and runs off. When she has returned to her room and in bed she has a terrible dream that the school actually is on fire. Horrified, she looks out her window and is shocked to see a real fire she then, feeling responsible, wakes up the school.
- When they find that Drippy is missing, Poppy runs into the burning school to rescue her in the freezer (indulging her ice cream craving.)
