- Daniel LaRusso: [after Chozen shows up] You gotta help me out here. This is the most awkward conversation of my life. Why is he even here?
- Kumiko: I called him.
- Daniel LaRusso: You called him? Did you forget about that time we fought to the death? That guy tried to kill me and he tried to kill you, too!
- Kumiko: Oh, yes! But that was a long time ago. Chozen has changed.
- Daniel LaRusso: People like him don't change, OK? Trust me. I know all there is to know about grudges. Trust me.
- Kumiko: Then it seems you two have lots to talk about.
- Daniel LaRusso: [Chozen and Daniel are fighting... Daniel has experienced a pressure point disabling technique new to him] What did you do?
- [Daniel's mind flashes back to their last fight in 1985]
- Daniel LaRusso: Live or die, man?
- Chozen: DIE!
- [returns to present day, Daniel is disabled and helpless, Chozen has him by the back of his head]
- Chozen: I have waited a long time for this...
- Daniel LaRusso: Chozen... no.
- Chozen: [stopping short of his fatal strike and tweaks Daniel's nose] HONK!
- [Chozen releases Daniel and begins to laugh hysterically as Daniel slowly regains use of his limbs]
- Daniel LaRusso: I'm glad you're having fun at my expense.
- Chozen: [still laughing] Oh, you should have seen your face!
- Daniel LaRusso: [in awe] What technique was that? My limbs were totally numb.
- Chozen: [smiles] Secret of Miyagi pressure points. If an enemy insists on war, then you take away their ability to wage it, eh?
- Daniel LaRusso: Can you teach me?
- [Chozen nods]
- Daniel LaRusso: [Chozen is walking Daniel down a path for him to catch a taxi] Well, that was a side of Miyagi-Do karate I never knew existed... but I get why Mr. Miyagi didn't want me to know it.
- Chozen: Your sensei is a man of great honor. I can only hope to be like him.
- Daniel LaRusso: Hey, you only did what your teacher told you to do.
- Chozen: After our fight, I felt great shame. I wanted to die. But... my uncle saved me. He gave me a chance to prove myself. I spent my life trying to do just that.
- [Daniel nods]
- Chozen: But regret is sometimes difficult to overcome.
- Daniel LaRusso: [sympathetically] I understand... and if means anything, Chozen... I, I forgive you.
- Chozen: [smiles] It means a great deal.
- Daniel LaRusso: If only every rivalry could end like this.
- Kumiko: [Daniel meets up with Kumiko at Tomi Village Mall, she's with a woman in a black dress] Daniel-san! Where's Chozen?
- Daniel LaRusso: [rubbing his sore shoulder from earlier] He uh... he had to teach a class. Hopefully he goes a little easier on them than he did me.
- Kumiko: [laughs] I hope you both learned something from each other.
- Daniel LaRusso: [smiles] I think so. I guess that was your plan, huh?
- Daniel LaRusso: [glances at woman with Kumiko] Friend of yours?
- Kumiko: Friend of OURS.
- Daniel LaRusso: [awkwardly to the woman] I'm sorry, I uh...
- Yuna: [sympathetically] Don't worry. It's been a long time since we met. I was a child then and it WAS during a typhoon.
- Daniel LaRusso: [Daniel's mind flashes back... he remembers her as the girl he rescued from the bell tower] Yuna?
- Yuna: [touched] You remember me?
- Daniel LaRusso: Are you kidding? How could I forget?
- [embracing her]
- Daniel LaRusso: Oh my God, how've you been?
- [she nods]
- Daniel LaRusso: And your English! So... perfect!
- Yuna: [releases him] I've been good, thank you. I work in international sales... perfect English comes in handy.
- Daniel LaRusso: Sales? Wow... great... same here! Well, maybe not for much longer... but... well, who do you work for?
- Yuna: [knowingly of Daniel's plight] Doyona.
- Daniel LaRusso: What... you work for Doyona?
- Yuna: Senior vice president of sales for Doyona International.
- Kumiko: Like Auntie Yukie says... put good out into the world and good will come back to you!
- Daniel LaRusso: Mr. Miyagi was right for loving her.
- [turns back to Yuna]
- Daniel LaRusso: So Yuna... can I buy you a drink?
- Yuna: I should hope so, Daniel-san. I'm about to save your business.
