Very dark, but well paced.

I thought the first episode was somewhat slow to get going, this one was much better I thought, better paced, a more cohesive story, and some very good acting.

The story turned out to be very dark, the content very bleak, I would imagine will have people talking for a few days. The story touched on self harm and suicide, very bleak material.

Adjoa Andoh was fantastic as The Detective, she gave a really strong performance, best one in it for me, I hope they get her back. Emma Cunniffe was wasted, she started well, then simply vanished.

Very enjoyable. 8/10

Takes an interesting turn

Assuming that people still watch Silent Witness, it means that they have accepted the (il)logic of the show whereby anyone can take on any role - Nikki can be pathologist, investigator, judge, jury, etc. Clarissa does blood tests, flight simulations, magically cracks VPN encryption, etc.

Once you get past this, this is an enjoyable story particularly for the way it develops rather unexpectedly. I always likee Adjoah Andoh and she's brillant on this one.
