Bruce proves leading with your chin w/ the Ripley's reboot is a recipe for success!

As the first season progresses, it keeps getting better and more fascinating/astonishing. Having Bruce Campbell as the host is a no-brainer, as he's always been so witty and articulate when I've seen him in person as a life-long fan. He's masterful at working a crowd, with his snarky sense of humor along with his sense of style that works for this show as well as Last Fan Standing. All the while, Bruce portrays himself as larger than life while never taking himself too seriously, embracing his title as the "King of B movies".

I have always loved ripleys, from the old dingy, musty smelling books in elementary school. even the older tv show was ok.... but this.... either Bruce is broke or he owes a gambling debt.. for the first episode... it was like whiskey limp bunch of youtube videos. dang it Bruce.... are you going to blame this on illegal downloads also?

I love the reboot! Bruce Campbell is a phenomenal host and the cast of characters, the flavor of the show and the feel of the whole thing is classic Ripley's. So glad it's back!

Disappointing

This new take on "Ripley's Believe It or Not" may appeal to viewers hooked on stunts and survival stories as found in abundance on Youtube or Tik-Tok, but for those looking for the kind of content that made Ripley famous, it is a major disappointment. No mysterious artifacts, no occult subjects, nothing but personal stories that can be found in any local news spotlight stories. As uplifting as these subjects can be, they fall short of the Ripley legacy.
