  Querl Dox : If I hadn't been wearing them, that Bad Brainy...

  Supergirl : So you're afraid to take them off.

  Querl Dox : Because I might be worse. And Nia, she... she might not care for me.

  Supergirl : Brainy, you are good to your core.

  Querl Dox : How could you be sure?

  Supergirl : Because you're loved. And the people that love you will *always* fight for you.

  Querl Dox : Your ability to instill hope and comfort with your words is nothing short of magic.

• Lex Luthor : [on monitor screen]  Apologies for the interruption, but would Director Danvers and Supergirl please report to the conference room immediately?

  [points at the three Kryptonian witches] 

  Supergirl : *Don't* make any sudden movements. Those are the witches that created Reign.

  Querl Dox : And tried to terraform my entire planet.

  Al : Wait, wait. Those aren't your witches. They... come from my world. They came to National City as tourists, and never left. They run a little side hustle out of the bar.

  [Supergirl looks at her disdainfully] 

  Querl Dox : I prefer to avoid such unreliable forecasting mechanisms.

  Vita : [elbows the other charletan out of the way]  Crystal balls...

  [scoffs] 

  Vita : are no more real than fool's gold. Allow me... to read your... stones.

  Selena : Please, forgive my sisters. Palm reading is the fastest path to your fate.

  [going all out to sound enticing:] 

  Selena : Five dollars, ten minutes.

  Supergirl : [looks both sceptical and creeped out]  Hmm. No, thank you.

  Selena : Gmph. Suit yourself.

  [turns away] 

  Vita : Typical.

  Dark Kryptonian : No one on this Earth values our gifts.

  [walks away in disgust] 

  Querl Dox : Everyone in this bar came from an Earth that was destroyed.

  Supergirl : They're all orphans. That's terrible!

  [shakes her head] 

  another Brainy : No, Supergirl! The entire multiverse was destroyed... an accident of fate kept us and these people alive. This isn't a tragedy. You know, it's a miracle.

  Supergirl : Okay, we need to divide and conquer. And please try to blend in, because there is still a murderer out there, and both of you are still in danger. Okay?

  [the other multiverse Brainy acts all overtly nonchalant, but as they waltz away, both are clearly not the types to ever fit in anywhere]
