Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • A little boy gets very sick, but he becomes pretty fine later.
  • A few toys, including the Velveteen Rabbit, are tossed outdoors so they can get burned. They never get burned at all.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The scene in which several toys, as well as the Velveteen Rabbit, are tossed outdoors in order to get burned without the sick boy's knowing it, may be little bit upsetting for some children. The burning never occurs anyway.
