While G Callen and Sam Hanna are working with Captain Steven Douglas (Gil Birmingham) of the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Allegiance in stopping Chechen terrorists headed by Gunner's Mate Michael Skinner (Guy Wilson) before they do some serious damage, Kensi Blye and her favorite husband Marty Deeks are situated with CIA warrior Vistanik Sabatino (Erik Palladino) and Senior Chief SEAL Don Wallace (Frank Wallace) at a mobile van and they're unfortunately about to recreate the siege of the Alamo in 1836 as quite a few ISIS terrorists are swarming in their direction. The quartet of heroes are looking for journalists Muhammed Pliyev (Kolso Kolev) and Alexandra Duvivier (Paris Benjamin) who have incontrovertible proof on a flash drive that the missile attack on both Saudi Arabia and Tel Aviv was a false flag operation done by ISIS who want their territory back; they were forced to give it up. If the information can be transmitted to the governments of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and even Iran, a Middle East war can be averted. Sounds like a plot from a Stephen Coonts novel. Anyhoo, G Callen and Sam Hanna make contact with Mossad Agent Eliana Sapir (Naassia Halibi) in Israel and Iranian agent Laleh Ayari (Sara Amini) in Tehran; Laleh has an in with two promiment imans who have the ears of the mullahs, you see. And in the meantime, Harm and Mac have an awkward encounter and she gives him a hug. Personally, this episode could have done without my two favorite characters. I wanted them to have a far happier ending; too bad Shane Brennan and Scott Gimmell didn't see it that way. Bah. Aside from Harm and Mac, the episode "Let Fate Decide" was all right. We also could have done without Sabatino hacking on Deeks. How this episode should have ended was Deeks giving Sabatino a roundhouse punch in the schnozzola. And after Sabatino fell on the ground, he yells "What was that for?" and Deeks would have replied "That's for being part of a bunch of rogue CIA weenies who tried to take down NCIS in Los Angeles and trying to land all of us in jail". Then Deeks kicks Sabatino in the family jewels and says, "And that's for being partnered with Sullivan or Harris or whatever is his real name who tried to kill Kensi, and would have except I double-tapped him in the forehead. And that's also for making an escape when we had you handcuffed to an SUV". How this episode should have really ended is that Kensi and Deeks spend their second honeymoon at a swank hotel in beautiful downtown Rihayd while Sabatino has to make do with Rosie Palmer and her five daughters. If there is going to be a JAG reboot, how about having all-new characters instead? Just a suggestion. Thanks for reading my review. Have a good weekend.
