The Brussels version of The Office. Wasted potential.

So disappointed there. Little to no editing, no narrative. Way longer than it could have been. Purely linear, feels like you're watching unedited files. Low quality footage to start with, especially the sound (for which I have some sympathy). Feels like an awkward PR stunt promoting Guy Verhofstadt, but it ends up feeling like you're watching an episode of the Brussels version of the Office, Guy being a mix of Dwight and Michael. Clearly doesn't lend much faith to EU level politicians. Everyone is boring, working out of boring offices, drinking a lot on the job. Guy likes racing vintage cars and doesn't mind taking his shirt off for the camera. He also bottles his own wine. Not that anyone cares. There seems to be a tension between Guy and Michel Barnier, they're in the same camp, yet there's no 1-1 with Barnier. That would have been an interesting angle. There's no analysis of anything. No one bothered enhancing the footage, with info-graphics, side notes, or any of the things that can make a documentary better. Brexit the uncivil war, was, I thought, way more interesting. The Utopian drive of Dominic Cummings was very interesting. The role played by AggregateIQ was enlightening. Here you see a bunch of frustrated, anonymous, uninspiring politicians, playing a rigged game against a bunch of crooks (May, Johnson). It's depressing, and there was nothing to make it interesting.
