Liz Carr you are tremendous!!!

Another body, and a surprise revelation give the team a new direction.

I thought the mystery itself and plot were excellent, but they were both well and truly outshone by the excellence of Liz Carr, Clarissa was given a big story, and as always Carr delivers the goods, tormented and conflicted we saw her attempt to carry on her work, and deal with her mum's demise. Tremendous.

Always great to see Max on the show, he's a natural actor, he's great on scene with Clarissa, pity we didn't see more of him. Anastasia Hille was awesome here, back on Silent Witness after sixteen years.

This was incredibly good, poignant, and I think will be memorable. Classic Silent Witness. 9/10

I wish Liz Carr had gotten a less silly story around her amazing performance
AlabamaWorley19714 April 2023
Clarissa (Liz Carr) can't decide what to do about her mother who's been living with Alzheimer's and now is suffering with aggressive pancreatic cancer. The treatment is making her mum very ill and unhappy, and Clarissa wonders about her quality of life. It's a serious issue many of us may need to cope with, and Liz Carr handles the emotional depths with great aplomb. It's a shame her tour de force performance is wrapped around this bizarre story of baby-stealing, cryogenics, and skeletons walled up in carparks. So sorry, Liz, you deserved a better more serious story to pair with your powerful delivery.

if it isn't Nikki...

If it isn't Nikki, it's Clarissa. Always is their a connection between the case and some personal life. Just a the time as one of the suspects suffers from a painful deadly disease Clarissa's mother is diagnosid with cancer. Just give us story with only an investigation.
