- When burned-out rock star Orion Gold puts the moves on successful journalist, Dana Long, neither of them knows how to brace for the impact. Could Orion's unique approach to life bring clarity to Dana's career-driven existence? Could she be his missing muse? Someone's going to fall...hard.—Greg Thompson
- What would you do if you knew that one night could change everything? Orion Gold (Eric McGraw) is a burned-out rocker in search of some kind of meaning for his life. Dana Long (Becca Ashley) is a successful news-journalist with an important story to tell. On Christmas Eve, she delivers her good news report dispelling the urban legend that suicide rates increase during the holidays, her calm demeanor belies that this is her final broadcast. With nowhere else to go on Christmas Eve, Dana finds herself in a local Chinese restaurant where the quirky, flirtatious Orion makes his move. Their conversation stumbles along in fits and starts, until Orion is distracted by a television in a corner of the restaurant. Suddenly aware that Orion is watching her broadcast, Dana squirms to her feet and leaves abruptly. Orion shrugs it off, heads home and out onto the rooftop of his apartment building for a Christmas smoke, only to find Dana standing on the edge of the building about to jump. Stunned and troubled, Orion talks her down and the connection that follows surprises them both as they discover that there is no greater distance than that which separates from ourselves. Could Orion's unique approach to life bring clarity to Danas career-driven existence? Could she be his missing muse? Either way someone's going to fall...hard.
