He remembers a NY businessman saying "my company directly competes with 200 Taiwanese companies selling at half price", and a parishioner telling him that there is a congregation in Taiwan of very rich people. What follows is a travelog. There are street markets, an amusement park, the entertainment district - and lush green mountains and tea plantations. Given that he has to change trains just to get there, and his short deadline to find donations, the decision to find a rural donor before exhausting his more easily available urban prospects seem to be an excuse to show the scenery .
I'm also not sure what audience this film is directed at, given that all monetary amounts use the U.S.$, not the Argentinian peso, which IS the currency generally in use when I visited not too long ago.
