I'm not too sure why everyone hates this episode. I think the jokes are just as funny and raunchy as before and I love the summer camp concept. Might just be me but I'm excited to watch more!

I loved this season opener and found myself laughing out loud a lot. I came to read the reviews from others and was honestly surprised by reviews that say the tone is "off." (But that's, of course, the individual view experience at work)

I don't think the introduction of a trans character is "virtue-signaling." I think it's the show's honest attempt to animate a particular trans experience through their meta-absurdist lens. Natalie is a fun addition to the show and I find her interesting and fun beyond her role as "the trans character." I'm exciting to see what her character opens up for the storytelling possibilities!

Not sure if this is pretty good start of this season. I believe they shoul've put Andrew and Nick in seperate locations not to blend together. When you see Lola and Jay together you can guess it's going to be gross season(in a good way). Episode wasn't tragic but nothing special so far.

Disappointed

Pretty disappointing first episode. Something just feels off. Seems like it doesn't have the same Charm as the first three seasons . Hopefully it gets better.

Bring back season 1

Every season gets worse. The jokes are bad, the edginess is completely gone, I don't know who they're trying to cater for. Just not funny or enjoyable anymore.

The virtue signaling is way off the scales and the introducion of a trans character is is truly dreadful, as if the writers felt they had to bring one in to be considered inclusive, but didn't really know what they were doing and just made themselves look stupid.

The Monster drink placement is utterly embarrassing.

I really enjoyed the first 3 seasons of big mouth. I thought it was hilarious. This first episode made me so sad. This show went from raunchy relatable middle school moments to a preachy celebrity driven, unfunny trash fire. I'm not against lgbt characters but the trans camper is unnecessary especially when none of the other characters are remotely funny. Pls turn it around season 4. Ik it's a bad episode when even Andrew and Maurice don't make me laugh

They seem to have run out of ideas, so now they're all preachy chapters. I've rarely laughed at any of the jokes, which is sad.

As someone who hated every other season this one felt really bad. Especially how they got the English guy from community to do a voice it just felt wrong
