- A true milestone episode: Dressed in a sharp red business suit, Brooke confronts the Forresters about their deception. First, she reminds Stephanie - who she considers the instigator - of the many times just as recent as last night that the Forrester Matriarch has been kicking her when she was already down. Then, she takes on Eric - her former spouse and father to her firstborn - and Ridge - who she has considered the love of her life - about their betrayal and lack of trust in her to sign over the patent. Brooke announces that she owns BeLieF and will own the company to provide for her children without dependency on anyone else. Brooke tears up the contract and walks out of the office. Connor and Taylor accidentally run into each other at a restaurant and he gives her preview of what is going on at Forrester Creations right now. Macy's unexpected appearance at Spectra Fashions forces Sally, Jack, Saul, Darla and Keith to form a united front much sooner than expected. Macy is furious when her mother suggests that she is an alcoholic. Trying to weasel herself out of an uncomfortable situation, Macy attempts to win over Darla who remains firm. Everyone gives his best to make Macy admit that she has a drinking problem. Macy refuses to get professional help and Sally therefore tells her daughter that - as an addict refusing treatment - she is no longer welcome in her home or office.—Torsten B. Tomaschek
