This anime series is set in a world where some people have magical powers. Those that do form the noble families and children are expect to start developing their powers in their early teens. Melida Angel has so far shown no sign of developing powers and her father suspects she may not be his daughter. He has hired Kufa Vampir to act as her tutor and if she fails to manifest any powers he is to kill her. He doesn't follow his instructions; instead he gives some of his power giving mana to her enabling her to show powers... the only problem is that she isn't the class she should be so must hide her class. Over the course of the series Kufa, Melida, and school mates will face a variety of tests and dangers.

This is a solid enough fantasy anime; it might not stand out in this crowded genre but it passes the time nicely and has some good ideas. As things get dangerous towards the end the tension rises nicely. The characters are pretty good so it is easy to care for them in these perilous situations. The animation is pretty good and the character designs suitably distinctive. Overall a decent enough series which fans of the genre should enjoy.

Fun to make fun of

This is by far the worst anime series I have ever seen, but it very far from being the least enjoyable!

Let's start out with the good. The story isn't awful, and everything else was better than you might be able to watch an anime with this story and enjoy it because it was actually good. There were some fun mysteries too, and the music and artwork are average.

The bad: everything else. THIS SHOW IS SO BAD!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I think mother's basement's review on youtube sums up what I feel about this series. It had me rolling in laughter, not because it made a funny joke but because there were just some super cliche and stupid moments. The characters are stupid and bad, their interactions are hilariously awful, there is no development anywhere, the story goes a mile a minute and it's hard to keep track of, there's just so much wrong with this show. I would recommend watching this this with a friend or someone you like so you can make fun of it together! Overall, even though this show is really bad, I still kinda can't help but love it.

Horrifically cliched hebephile fantasy, hard pass.

Never have I more regretted my personality quirk that won't let me quit before finishing a series.

This is the single most cliched & trite, boring and warped (in a bad way) series I've watched in quite a while. It "samples" heavily from a ton of other series / Anime (I don't want to be accused of Libel), from the main characters that look like SAO knockoffs with slight differences to a creepy vampire romance.

The "Deus ex machina" trope is so heavily abused in almost every episode it's absurd. The art is below average, the story / character development and dialog is trash. I mean what bad guy refers to his/her own "Guild" as an "eminently sinister organization..." Every chance they had to advance the story the ball was dropped, from skipping the training montage trope to bypassing critical conflict scenes (hero confront enemy, quickly cut to hero having capturing key character they skipping any good dialog that could have been slipped in.)

For those who are curious a hebephile is one attracted to those on the cusp of puberty, typically ages 12 to 14.

It hurts me to say this.

I really can't bring myself watching another episode of this romance based love story with a few not interesting fights. The powers and abilities are ultra boring and the story well it just boring asf. The setting is really well put in episode 1m liked the setting but dear god its get boring just after 3 episodes. I really dont want to do this anime harm but i cant bring myself not to write this review. a 4 outt of 10 seems a really good number.

This is series is not worthy of all the bashing.

The anime has an interesting setting, in which those of high social status live better than those below them (No Brainer) and all live within these domes where malevolent creatures are a threat. I enjoy the fact that our female protagonist has an internal conflict to deal with in the beginning of the anime, and later has both internal and external, as she bonds ever so slightly to her instructor.

I rate this an 8/10 because it has a great opening and ending music. The colors are beautiful and portray the characters in an appropiate manner. The anime is by no means boring, as event after event lead our protagonists to become closer. It is to be taken seriously but is not afraid to liven up the audience here and there so long as it is the time to do so. And it is a great story and a getaway from current mainstream anime.

Not worth the time

It doesn't worth your time.

The story is a little weird but acceptable so are the art style (not anything special or memorable, but ok) but the main character really angers me. He is a 17 year old (at least according to Google) that he is tutoring a 13 year old little girl. By the first episode he kisses her for no apparent reason and for the rest of the series the way he acts is very appealing to the little girl that she obviously have very strong romantic feelings for him, in episode nine she evens kisses him and he doesn't react at all, not to mention that in the manga they become lovers.

I think series like this (with the main character being a pedo) should be band from television because they are a bad influence.

I hated this anime for the above reasons so thats why 3 stars.

Finally a good romance

I love this anime it's Mileda is a loveable character and she is very determined. Her and Kufas relationship is fast yet interesting I want to see more for sure I felt that they tried moving the series a bit too fast I would've liked to see some of her training but I can't wait for season 2 please hurry!

This series was great, it had an interesting plot and good development of character. I hope they make another season so we can see how Melida's strength grows. Her instructor is also super cool, more intense battles further on will be quite interesting.

While it has some glaring flaws, it's still fun!

This anime has a lot of story potential, and it has a lot of original stuff to it. The problem with it was how the story was exceuted, and how the other characters besides Melida, Kufa, Rosetti, and Elli were presented. Other than that, it's not as bad as people say it is.

This show is all around a good show to watch. it has a good story and character development throughout the episodes. THIS SHOW ISNT A ROMANTIC ANIME IN ANY WAY!!!

I loved this anime. I know that is a tipical story between a teen girl and a teen boy, and that is why some people hate this animé. BUT I love the graphics and the story was entertaining and I heve just wonderfull words about the anime. The story was complex, well written and full of teen love.

This anime just touched my heart! It was full of action but it also had a bit of romance and i really really hope that they come out with more episodes in the near future!!! I would definitely watch it and I have recommended it to some friends as well! This is definitely one of my favorite animes of all time! Honestly I'm going to have to find the manga series and read it as well (if it has a manga series). Thank you to the creators of this anime. And I hope you do end up making and releasing more episodes!! <3.
