- Narrator: Remotely situated thousands of miles from the crowded centers of civilization lies Auckland, ocean gateway to northern New Zealand, and one of the most progressive cities of its size in the British Empire. In spite of its remoteness, a way down under the Equator, Auckland manages to keep abreast of the times and readily utilizes all the worthwhile modern developments of the outside world.

- Narrator: In concluding our impressions of New Zealand, we will always think of it as a country in which man and beast appear to have developed a formula for living at peace and in harmony with nature in all its phases, a land that is truly beautiful, and a people who are a credit to the finer amenities of mankind. With such impressions we reluctantly say "Farewell" to picturesque New Zealand.
