Under the Influence (#14.5)

Warning: Spoilers
As one can judge by the title, this episode has some concentration on drugs. There is this story about a soon to be father who is suspected of being a speed addict. And in this time I actually thought he really is. They did get me again.

It is also great how they go back to Abby's alcoholism. It is not something that just disappears when one quits. And it is also now the right time for her to feel pulled back under stress. Greatly thought through and done.

I like that new character, intern Zelinsky. He is a very fun character and him and Neela go well together as work partners. He was pretty hilarious how he made the pregnant woman cry, really a genius but not very good with people skills.

It was purposely annoying

Warning: Spoilers
It was purposely annoying that Abby's brat continued his bawling. Maybe she can talk on her phone again while driving with him in the car and then pop open a wine bottle again.

Pratt is at work like nothing happened, despite having previously assaulted a paramedic. Certain people must be completely immune from any accountability whatsoever.

Stamos, the new Clooney

Warning: Spoilers
NOT! Again, he's in scenes with younger actors/actresses. As an actor, if I were written into such a joke character, I'd be beyond upset. He tries to go head to head with Cayson over a cardio case and his attempt at being a mouthy, good-for-my-patient bad ass comes off so poorly I was embarrassed for him. He peaked w Full House...and that's not saying a lot.

Abby's back on the bottle. Can't blame her. Still over her poorly written character.

Morris gets funnier every episode. His character has grown on me. Tucci is too good for this show, I don't know what he was thinking taking a recurring role On this dumpster of a show. I like the new 19 year old intern. His character is genuine and kinduva Sheldon before there was a Sheldon.

All in all, I'm glad this show is winding down. It's gotten so bad, I barely watch the episodes.
