- A crime thriller/drama told from the inside, looking out. A biting expose of relationships and the abuse of authority in Western society - Spanning two time periods, now (2019) and then (1976).
- The Removalists is a contemporary story of modern Australia. Themes of truth, guilt, honour, loyalty and family are what we are always examining in our storytelling. The unique difference is the overriding social and political commentary around justice, respect, community, and responsibility - 'social values.' Society has changed and 'social values' is by definition about promoting diversity and inclusion. Social values is the 'me too' movement, 'PC', gender equality LGBTQ+ - all of it. They are all part of the same change. The corporate world is more conscious of this requirement than ever before. Today, companies integrate social values into core business strategy. Social values reflect how they relate to society. But as we know not all institutions embrace change. In our case Neville Ross is man who if he does not change he will not have a future. While a role model and a respected police officer, his past is ever present.
