This edition of the show that plays out like a pub quiz was part of the 25th anniversary of Channel 4, broadcast on the day the channel first started in 1982, so this was a great to relive the great television broadcast on the channel, and this was a great show to watch and have fun with. Hosted by Jimmy Carr, with celebrity panellists in three teams: The Friday Night Project's Alan Carr and Jack Dee (The CarrDees / CarrJack), Countdown's Carol Vorderman (the first woman to appear on Channel 4) and Frank Skinner (A&D), and Peep Show's David Mitchell and The IT Crowd's Richard Ayoade (Team Three / The Speccy Nerdy F-nuts). This quiz focused on subjects based on the programmes Channel 4 broadcast over the last 25 years, including water cooler moments and most talked about shows, American TV, chat shows, youth and children's TV, comedies, sport, controversy, factual entertainment shows and game shows. These questions are asked as they are, with video and sound clips, with pictures (including Say What You See), and by celebrity and mystery guests on screen or in the studio, so it really does feel like a proper quiz that you can take part in. Other celebrity and special mystery guests in the show included the children of Mitchell Brook Primary School in Neasden who act out well known news stories, Derren Brown, mystery guest Joanna Fisher from Minipops (she was 5 years old when the programme was brodcast), Brookside's Anna Friel, Jo Frost aka Supernanny, Ricky Gervais who started out on The 11 O'Clock Show, Desmond's star Ram John Holder, Jools Holland who hosted The Tube, Vic Reeves, Jonathan Ross, Jon Snow who reads news related to a Channel 4 children's programme (The Snowman), and Quentin Tarantino who directed an episode of ER. The jokes and the questions are what make this show so much fun, they always choose the right celebrity panellists, and it works as a funny way to reminisce on the memorable things shown on the channel, a great comedy quiz show.
