- Janet is commissioned to take portraits of Shannon's cats. Umma entrusts Jung to pick Appa up from the dentist, but things don't go as planned. Kimchee is threatened by Terence, and a spice challenge ensues.
- Dropping by Jung's apartment, Janet finds only Shannon, the two who have never really spent any time together by themselves in any capacity. In wanting to forge a relationship with her boyfriend's sister, Shannon hires Janet to take some photographs of her cats. Things hit the gray zone of friends versus the client/service provider relationship when they skirt around the issue of payment. Meanwhile, Umma has asked Jung to pick up Appa from the dentist following his root canal, Umma who can no longer pick him up when the appointment is rescheduled. But Jung having to deal with a work issue leading to him being late leads to a series of actions and reactions between Jung, Appa and Umma all concerning the bonds within family. And Terence showing his love of wasabi results in the Handy staff re-nicknaming him Wasabi. Seething below the surface, Kimchee tries subversively to show everyone that he and he alone among their group should have a name tied to spicy Asian food.—Huggo
