Imagine someone like Carl Sagan or Stephen Hawking hanging out with people like Brittney Spears or Paris Hilton - now you can imagine how out of place this show is on a channel like Animal Planet. The premise of the show is counting down the top 10 animals on a weekly theme (for example, i think pests was the theme for the episode i saw) and celebrities comment about them. Since these are celebrities, and not scientists, experts or intellectuals, this usually amounts to sex jokes and gossip. I find it ironic that the show is called "The A-List" and uses B-list actors. Anyway, anybody in their right mind would pass on this show - unless you're the type that like reality shows, in which case, you already enjoy dumbed down TV.
