The young man is going places

This is one of the five featurettes on the DVD of The Bourne Ultimatum, and thus part of the "explosive bonus content" that the back of the cover promises. It consists almost exclusively of behind the scenes footage, with interviews, often recorded right there between takes, and the occasional clip from the movie. Thus, there is quite a lot of candid material in this, and it really gives a very accurate and "real" impression of how work on a film set is, including when it's uncomfortable due to weather or other circumstances. Technically, there is strong language, but every last bit of it is covered up by "bleeping" it. Based on the R2 version, this is 24 minutes long, and it's never boring. The pacing is spot-on, and it's well-edited. It's nicely informative, and genuinely funny, from the jokes made by the crew along the way. This is different from the typical making-of production, and I think a lot of people will enjoy it. It does go into stuff about shooting in the various locations, and what kind of "feel" you get from that area. I recommend this to any fan of the trilogy. 7/10
