In the vein of Spinal Tap, this is a charming little mockumentary about the jazz ensemble that was robbed of their material by a certain Birmingham metal band. A fair few musicians play along in interviews including the mysterious Rick Wakeman who clearly has passed his talents along.
Jazz Sabbath is more than just a novelty act. The arrangements are great. The musicianship superb. Their spirit is loving. And you can't deny that there is a lot of jazz influence in those early Sabbath records.
