Not much to say on the case but in the end, I thought the guys in the car with the 'US Attorney ' were actually trying to kill Joelle and was going to use Anna to draw her out but what do they want with Katie Miller? I have a feeling the CIA is using Anna and Allan Williams is part of the CIA

Recycled actors

I hate it when a franchise recycles actors, but I accept it happens. The problem here is they've recycled an actor who played a significant part in a major story arc over many episodes In the original parent NCIS series. Can't just re-use those actors in other roles without it being noticed. It's hard to suspend disbelief in a show as utterly preposterous as NCIS:LA at the best of times, but things like this make it impossible.
Strange direction

Sorry, but this episode was annoying to watch. What's with the 60s era headshot closeups in the boat shed and the bouncing back and forth between the suspect to the table to Callan and back again? Also the split screen with Anna?? A bunch of weird camera angles throughout. Good story but hard to watch.
