Many of the pictures seen at Howard's wake were taken from Patrick Fabian's personal Instagram feed. Some had to have Tony Dalton (Lalo Salamanca) digitally removed, as he and Fabian are hiking buddies in real life.
The opening song is "Perfect Day", written by Harry Nilsson and originally recorded on his 1977 album "Knnillssonn." The version heard in this episode is a collaboration between Dresage and Slow Shiver. On the Breaking Bad Insider podcast, it was explained that the creative team commissioned this cover because Nilsson's original wasn't long enough to cover the full montage.
Saul's combover was digitally added in post-production.
The mug Jimmy has on his desk, as Saul, saying "World's Best Lawyer", is the very same one that is seen falling and shattering in every tenth episode of each season.
The scene with Reed Diamond's David and Giancarlo Esposito's Gus Fring is a case of together again for the first time. Both actors starred in Homicide: Life on the Street (1993) but were not on the show at the same time, with Reed Diamond leaving just as Giancarlo Esposito arrived, making it appropriate they play old acquaintances. Ed Begley, Jr. and Rhea Seehorn also appeared on the show.
