When Prof. Bernard A. Lietaer talks about "40 trillion frequent flyer miles" this, in the subtitles, is translated into German as "40 Trillionen Flugmeilen". This is way off: the (English) trillion is a million million, whereas a (German) Trillion is a billion billion.
About 21 minutes into the film, the German narrator speaks of "ein Guthaben im Wert einer Goldkugel von der Größe der gesamten Erde" - a correct translation of which would be "a fortune worth a golden globe the size of Earth", but the English narration has "...worth a golden globe the weight of the whole world". A golden globe the size of Earth has 3.5 times the mass of Earth.
About 21 minutes into the film, it is claimed that "...if Josef would have opened a savings account with one Cent at 5 % interest upon the birth of Christ and if the economy had been inflation-free, Josef's descendants would have in the year 1604 a fortune worth a golden globe the weight of the whole world
at today's gold-price." This would require a gold-price of around 500,000 $/oz. - Gold-price in 2007-2008 varied from 608 to 1024 $/oz, according to the London Bullion Market Association. Assuming a gold-price of $1000 a troy-ounce, a fortune worth "gold the same mass of Earth" would be reached around 1476, and "a golden globe the size of Earth" around 26 years later.
