way to go america

Informative but frustrating to know that the U.S. again lags behind the rest of the developed world in innovation and a vision for the future of clean energy. This documentary informs the viewer how government and industry come together to undermine research and development for alternative energies by picking the winners based individual interest rather that what is truly viable.

Hydrogen is the future !
fishfoods15 November 2023
Director John Michael Parkan should be commended for bringing this issue to the forefront of his masterful portrayal of a gripping look at the climate change solution no one is talking about: hydrogen. The universe's most abundant element is the only clean energy source that can successfully power cars, homes, factories and cities. From the early days of the Clinton administration to the money, power and politics that have shielded public

Extremely well done documentary very specific to the point. Clean energy hydrogen, will bring the trucking, and car industry into the future. We need to start expansion on many new hydrogen stations throughout the nation so we can excel into the future.

"At War with Dinosaurs" is a thought-provoking and timely documentary that dives deep into the often-overlooked solution to climate change - hydrogen. Directed by John Michael Parkan, this film takes the audience on a gripping journey, unraveling the untapped potential of the universe's most abundant element as a clean energy source.

The narrative skillfully unfolds, starting from the early days of the Clinton administration, revealing the intricate web of money, power, and politics that has shielded the promise of hydrogen from public knowledge and sentiment. Parkan seamlessly weaves together the perspectives of scientists, engineers, auto makers, and politicians, creating a comprehensive exploration of our hydrogen fuel cell future.

"At War with Dinosaurs" is not just a documentary; it's a rallying cry for change. It pushes beyond the surface of climate change discussions, shining a light on a viable and tangible solution that could redefine our energy landscape. The film's impact goes beyond the screen, leaving audiences inspired and motivated to question the status quo.

Very Educational and Informative Piece to Watch

Warning: Spoilers
As Hydrogen is gaining more momentum with new policies bieng put in place aroung the world this piece was a great history lesson on what happened 20 years ago in the industry.

Very astonishing and shocking that one person can make a difference on the trajectory and growth of technology for better or for worse.

It comes to show how policy has an impact on a whole industry especially when it is a very naucent industry trying to grow.

Highly recomended for anyone interested in Hydrogen and there are many lessons to be learned from this piece so we do not make the same mistakes as we did many years ago.

Great movie!
hadman-7633015 November 2023
The movie really shows the importance of using hydrogen. Electric cars will currently be the solution in the short term, but in the long term hydrogen cars will have to be used. I think that one major issue is that when the people pro hydrogen and pro electric cars fight, they both tear each other apart. A better method would be to have a collaboration between the two.

Investment in hydrogen is really important for the long term of humanity and I hope we will soon see its use on a large scale. We are already seeing lots of hydrogen vehicles driving around and it is exciting to think what is coming. However, we have to act faster, since climate change is becoming an ever bigger threat.

Good history lesson on BEV vs. Fuel Cell fight
mmiyasato22 May 2024
I personally know many of the interviewees in this film and experienced the slashing of DOE fuel cell budgets during the Obama administration. Steven Chu's smug "4 miracles" brought back painful memories and a huge twang of remorse/regret of what "could have been". It does underscore the need for leaders at the highest levels to ensure we play the long-game to ensure survival of the planet. Although a bit dated (interviews end around 2016?), still worth the historic review of how fuel cells were in favor, out of favor, back in favor. It's even more timely now that the DOE Hydrogen Hub awards have been announced.

It's a hit piece on Tesla
rpcerniglia31 May 2022
Very biased documentary, Is a joke. Halfway through it becomes an attack ad on Tesla. The hydrogen fuel cell people blame everyone else while admitting no problems with hydrogen fuel cell such as the fact that it is five times more flammable than normal gas while their isn't any infrastructure to build hydrogen gas stations.
