The gang all end up going to Vegas, where there are two different kind of engagements happening. This is the second of two parts and a much better episode than the previous one.
Jan is once again appointed hostess duties in Nancy's absence. There is another mention made of Jan's new house, but we have hardly had any details about this development.
Howard hunts Nancy down in Vegas and is peeved to find her with another man - the pastry chef at Caesar's Palace. Meanwhile, Dot ends up being a handsome cowboy's good luck charm, and Amy gets addicted to gambling. Howard confides in Ginger that he loves Nancy, then proposes to her. Nancy's "JACKPOT!!!" exclamation would have brought huge audience applause had they still been taping the show live.
The wedding ceremony is simple but the way the minister - an Elvis impersonator - rhymes off some of the King's biggest hits during the vows is amusing.
A little underwhelming for such an important event, but a memorable episode, nonetheless.
