- Detective Olivia Benson: I was sexually assaulted six months ago.
- Master Sgt. Dominic Pruitt: Quit kicking yourself.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Well... that's easy to say and hard to do.
- Master Sgt. Dominic Pruitt: Takes practice. You'll get there.
- Odafin Tutuola: What's our next move?
- Detective Olivia Benson: Talk to one of the patients from Jessie's support group.
- Odafin Tutuola: The shrink won't tell you about the rape. What makes you think she's gonna give up her patient list?
- Detective Olivia Benson: I don't need it. I already know who to talk to.
- Odafin Tutuola: Does anyone else know you're in therapy?
- Detective Olivia Benson: No.
- Odafin Tutuola: Then they won't hear it from me.
- Donald Cragen: I want you to take some personal time off.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Why?
- Donald Cragen: You know why. Just do it.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Is that an order, captain?
- Donald Cragen: No. If it was, I'd have to make a notation in your jacket.
- Detective Olivia Benson: How much time should I take off?
- Donald Cragen: As much as you need.
- Odafin Tutuola: How'd it go?
- Detective Olivia Benson: Better than I thought. Pruitt's attorney didn't mention the fact that I held a gun to his client's head.
- Odafin Tutuola: It had nothing to do with Jessie's murder.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Defense attorneys find every weakness. That's what they do
- Odafin Tutuola: I get you not wanting people to know that you're in therapy.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Ah, well, I may not have a choice.
- Odafin Tutuola: As long as you work at it, the flashbacks will go away. Did for me.
- Detective Olivia Benson: I need you to open your jacket.
- Rochelle Rodriguez: Get off me.
- Margo: This is a safe place. Everything that is said in session is confidential. You are a client here, Olivia.
- Detective Olivia Benson: And I am a cop, and I cannot let you leave with a gun.
- [Rochelle opens her jacket, and Benson removes said gun]
- Detective Olivia Benson: Where'd you get this? If there are any bodies on this gun, you are gonna be in deep. Now, I don't want that. Do you?
- Rochelle Rodriguez: I just wanna feel safe again.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Your husband raped and murdered Jessica Crewes, and you helped him.
- Marlene Rosten: That's ridiculous.
- Detective Olivia Benson: You like being married to a pilot. You love the prestige. And you weren't gonna let Jessica ruin everything that you built.
- Marlene Rosten: You're crazy. I... I'm not listening to this, and you can't keep me here.
- Detective Olivia Benson: [Marlene stands to leave] Your husband's DNA matches the baby's blood.
- Marlene Rosten: That's a lie. There is no baby.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Then how come I have a piece of the umbilical cord that the bastard left behind? You could be charged with aiding and abetting. And trust me, no judge is gonna be lenient.
- Margo: He violated you, Rochelle. It is not your fault.
- Rochelle Rodriguez: Yeah. But I was the one that had to hit the head for sneaking beer, and I was the one without my M4.
- Kayla: I had mine and I still got raped.
- Rochelle Rodriguez: Well, then you should have killed that bastard, Kayla. I'm always strapped now.
- Detective Olivia Benson: You... you can't carry a concealed weapon. If you get caught, you'll go to prison.
- Rochelle Rodriguez: Sounds better than gettin' raped.
- Margo: You know, you're supposed to be addressing your anxiety from sexual assault. I put you with these women because you have the same mindset.
- Detective Olivia Benson: And if you knew that Rochelle Rodriguez was carrying, you should have reported it.
- Margo: I had my suspicions. No one would trust me if I frisked them.
- Detective Olivia Benson: And I had probable cause.
- Margo: You crossed the line, Olivia. When we're in session, you have to put your job aside.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Not if they break the law.
- Dr. Melinda Warner: Rigor's set. T.O.D.'s about twelve hours. She has bruising around her throat.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Looks like she was yoked.
- Dr. Melinda Warner: One jagged stab wound to the back.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Any way the baby could have survived the attack?
- Dr. Melinda Warner: How far along was she?
- Detective Olivia Benson: 32, maybe 33 weeks.
- Dr. Melinda Warner: The lungs aren't fully developed yet, but that's not what worries me.
- Detective Olivia Benson: You think the baby was cut.
- Dr. Melinda Warner: I'd be surprised if it wasn't. The killer really hacked up the womb. I got pieces of placenta and part of the umbilical cord. I'll rush DNA on the cord blood, see if we can ID the father.
- Donald Cragen: Pruitt's about to ship out again. You think he raped any others?
- Odafin Tutuola: There's no record of sexual assault.
- Detective Olivia Benson: That means nothing. When women refuse to serve with the men who rape them, they get court-martialed for desertion, dereliction, conduct unbecoming. I mean, their files get red flagged and the men who raped them get a weekend pass.
- Donald Cragen: He passed a polygraph, Olivia.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Any psycho can do that.
- Odafin Tutuola: I can't let you question the suspect.
- Detective Olivia Benson: I'm fine, Fin.
- Odafin Tutuola: You held your gun to the back of a man's head. Do you have any idea how much trouble you're in?
- Detective Olivia Benson: You reported me?
- Odafin Tutuola: No, I'm talking about you getting your head together.
- Detective Olivia Benson: I am working on it.
- Odafin Tutuola: Are you? Seems like you even have issues with your shrink. You need to talk to someone.
- Detective Olivia Benson: The only person that I'm interested in talking to is the man who raped and killed Jessica Crewes. We need to find that baby.
- Odafin Tutuola: If I let you do this, I'm sitting in.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Look, I'm okay!
- Odafin Tutuola: No, no, no. It's either me or it's Cragen. You choose.
- Donald Cragen: Do we have any idea where this Marine was killed?
- Odafin Tutuola: A large pool of blood was found in Battery Park. The lab's testing it now.
- Donald Cragen: She was stationed in North Carolina. What was she doing in New York?
- Detective Olivia Benson: She went AWOL to join a therapy group that specializes in treating military rape victims with PTSD.
- Donald Cragen: That's a long way to travel for therapy.
- Odafin Tutuola: It's a long waiting list, and returning vets need help now.
- Donald Cragen: What do we know about the sexual assault?
- Detective Olivia Benson: Next to nothing. She was raped in Iraq and couldn't, or wouldn't, identify her attacker.
- John Munch: Let me guess, the military will not release an active file.
- Odafin Tutuola: Well, if it happened in-country, it had to be somebody she worked with.
- Donald Cragen: What unit was she assigned to?
- John Munch: A squadron in the 2nd Airwing. Maintenance on light attack helicopters.
- Odafin Tutuola: Okay, there's fifteen helos per squadron.
- John Munch: So?
- Odafin Tutuola: Cobra gets a three-man maintenance team to work on engines, navi, weapon systems, and ordnance. Plus there's two pilots and door gunner per bird.
- Detective Olivia Benson: That's over seventy-five suspects.
- Donald Cragen: Then narrow it down. Go back to the therapist, see if the victim gave her a name.
- Odafin Tutuola: We should probably figure the best way to talk to Pruitt.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Put him in the box and sweat him.
- Odafin Tutuola: He's not like a normal hump we pick up off the street. Pruitt's not just gonna start spilling his guts. They train him not to.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Look, he's gonna cooperate or he's gonna sit in a cell.
- Odafin Tutuola: Sounds like you've already decided he's guilty.
- Detective Olivia Benson: 'Cause that's how it looks.
