Steve Czarnecki thought up the punny name for the show during the first week of Quarantine in mid-March 2020. He immediately called Adam Gaynor to help flush out the idea, and a week later the concept of Social Distance Sing was locked in and in pre-production.
Natalie Lander is known for her work on ABC's The Middle, where she plays Debbie. Other TV credits include Castle, Touch, Hannah Montana and TV Land's Lopez. Natalie has also lent her voice to such animated characters as Goldie from Goldie & Bear on Disney Junior and Stargirl on DC's Justice League Action.
