An interesting and nice journey.

I enjoyed very much this journey in the Massif des Écrins: beautiful snowy landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of this region: the National Park of the Écrins (creation in 1973, the park rangers organizing hiking, the 700 kilometers of hiking paths, Olivier Warluzelle explaining the care for the wild animals, Julien Charron and the monitoring of the glaciers-the global warming-,Eric Vannard and Florence the park rangers in charge of the monitoring of the ibex, the Alpine choughs), the village of La Grave (Valérie Buch-the truck farmer and egg producer-, the little market once a week, Céline Gaillard and the goats farm, Sergio Moranval, the stret artist and event organizer), the "Groue féminin de Haute montagne (Zoé Laurent, Marie Pachoud, the 2 years training to become high muntain guides, the frozen waterfall and the ice climbing), Serre-Chevalier and ski season ( the organization before the season opening-Serge Nguyen and his restaurant, the ski patrols -the marking of the ski tracks-, the maintenance of the ski lifts and cabe cars), the friendly welcome (Jérôme Sullivan, the alpinist, the Vietnamese Joseph Nguyen and his family in the town of Gap, Ayman and Ahmed, the Sudanese refugees in Briançon) and the mountain in winter (the avalanche risk, the policemen and the rescue dogs looking for personns under a simulated avalanche, the helicopter team and the rescue practice on a stopped chairlift).

I enjoyed the encounters of Ismaël with Damien Lacaze (the ski mountaineering and the paragliding), with Clémentine Junique (the walk through La Grave, the snow shoes tour, the sto at Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans-Marie-Claude et La Cordée, the skimountaineering with Damien, the chamois), with Alban Mounier (the story of Les Deux-Alpes, the family chalet, the chocolatier Pascal Chat, the chef Tanguy Rattier and the meal with trouts and oysters), with Rémi Desoutter, the musher (the dog sled tour), with Thomas Collet in Briançon ("La "gargouille"-water canal in middle of the street, the sentry walk, the larch trees and the the cutlery) and with Paul Cieslar in Vallouise (the frozen waterfall and the ice climbing); nice encounters with very kind French men and women.
