Heidi Klum has proved, yet again, that she's the indisputable queen of Halloween.
While the supermodel has donned some pretty intricate costumes in the past -- including dressing up as Jessica Rabbit, a detailed butterfly and the Hindu goddess Kali -- Klum's costume for her annual Halloween bash this year required a little less make-up.
However, it did require five other women to don synthetic replicas of her face to go as nearly identical clones of the 43-year-old America's Got Talent star.

Special effects legend Ray Harryhausen, whose dazzling and innovative visual effects work on fantasy adventure films such as Jason And The Argonauts and The 7th Voyage Of Sinbad passed away in 2013 at age 92. In 1933, the then-13-year-old Ray Harryhausen saw King Kong at a Hollywood theater and was inspired – not only by Kong, who was clearly not just a man in a gorilla suit, but also by the dinosaurs. He came out of the theatre “stunned and haunted. They looked absolutely lifelike … I wanted to know how it was done.” It was done by using stop-motion animation: jointed models filmed one frame at a time to simulate movement. Harryhausen was to become the prime exponent of the technique and its combination with live action. The influence of Harryhausen on film luminaries like Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Peter Jackson, and...

Suffer the First Vision: Goddard’s Debut Anchored in Episode of Literary Distress
Doomed Welsh poet Dylan Thomas gets a contemporary biopic treatment in Set Fire to the Stars, taking its name from the last line of his poem “Love in the Asylum.” The film marks the feature debut of British television alum Andy Goddard (“Torchwood,” “Downton Abbey”) and is presented in striking black and white, giving the visual attributes a dramatic edge over the familiar succession of beats often evidenced in these portraits of mad artists. Told through the perspective of poet and literary critic John Brinnin, the man responsible for bringing Thomas to the Us for the first time, the treatment is based partially on his highly criticized account, Dylan Thomas in America. Goddard and co-writer Celyn Jones (who stars as Thomas) don’t appear to take many liberties and/or risks, despite some slight implications concerning Brinnin’s latent desires.

Karaoke heals all wounds in this week's fun, monster-filled episode of Sleepy Hollow...
This review contains spoilers.
2.14 Kali Yuga
I knew I shouldn’t have been so emo last week. This is how I like my Sleepy Hollow - fun plot with a crazy monster, Ichabod and Abbie doing their thing, random historical tie-in, and just the right amount of Katrina. (Also? I demand that we add karaoke to that list on a weekly basis.) Most importantly, though, this week brings several characters to different degrees of reconciliation, some not a moment too soon.
First things first - plotwise, this week’s story gives more insight into Hawley and his past. His godmother, Carmilla, shows up needing his help, as well as sporting a seriously fierce mouthful of cuspids. She is now in the unfortunate plight of having been transformed into a vetala and needs to get into Henry Knox...

Apparently, blood baths are in.
First, American Horror Story: Freak Show had Dandy take a dip in a tub full of gore. Now, in Penny Dreadful’s Season 2 trailer, Showtime’s monster mash has its new Big Bad, Madame Kali (Helen McCrory), enjoying a crimson soak, as well.
In addition, the teaser hints at an inevitable showdown between the villainess and our tortured heroine, Vanessa (Eva Green). “When Lucifer fell,” the latter intones, “he did not fall alone.” But the biggest shock in the preview is arguably the sight of Miss Ives in the arms of neither Dorian nor Ethan...

“The time came when I learned that the curse was also something of a blessing.” Classic horror literature characters, bloodsuckers, possession—season one of Showtime’s new series, Penny Dreadful, had a little bit of everything and turned out to be an unexpected treat for horror fans, and with the show’s sophomore season premiering next year, Showtime has unveiled the first teaser video for season two.
“This season, Vanessa and Ethan form a deeper bond as the group, including Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton), Dr. Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway), and Sembene (Danny Sapani), unite to banish the evil forces that threaten to destroy them. Meanwhile, Dorian Gray (Reeve Carney), the Creature (Rory Kinnear) and Brona (Billie Piper) are all waging battles of their own. Patti LuPone will guest star as a mysterious character of great importance in Vanessa’s past. Helen McCrory returns as Evelyn Poole (a.k.a. Madame Kali...

It may seem to some of you as if Showtime’s Penny Dreadful just got underway, and those of you who feel that way wouldn’t be entirely wrong. After only eight episodes, the season finale is now upon us, despite it feeling like showrunner John Logan is only just starting to show us the extent of the gorgeous, Gothic world he has so excelled in creating. “Grand Guignol” is a spectacular finale befitting Penny Dreadful‘s spectacular first season – and it left me both satisfied and beyond excited to leap back into the story when the show returns next year.
As many of you predicted, this finale wraps up the hunt for Mina, Brona’s illness and Caliban’s search for a mate, in addition to some other smaller character arcs. Let’s take a look at how it broke down.
We open as Vanessa and Malcolm discuss their plans to rescue Mina,...

‘Back 2 Love’ is the much talked about solo album by one of Bollywood’s most popular singers, Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The album has been produced by Sahir Ali Bagga, Mian Yousaf Sallahuddin and Salim-Sulaiman. The album also has Shreya Ghoshal, who makes an appearance in the song ‘Rhim Jim’. BollySpice was at the album launch event in Dubai this week as well. Read on to see what we think of his work in Back 2 Love!
First up we have ‘Rab Jaane’ which contains a mixture of Asian and Western flavours. I love the use of the electric guitar which gives the song an intense feeling to it, whilst other sounds such as the tabla and harmonium help to sustain its overall Qawalli theme. Rahat manages to get the pitch just right and as the song progresses, his voice manages to build up quite nicely whilst remaining in tune.

"Alpha Pact" had me on the edge of my pillow. I was oohing and awwing my way through the entire episode. If Teen Wolf can follow up the second half of the finale as well as it paced this hour, we're in for a hell of a ride next Monday.
The scene stealer from the opening was Isaac. He has earned his stripes this season, with his natural humor and charisma and loyalty equaled only by Stiles. Coming in a close third is Peter - and all three of them shared absolutely mesmerizing scenes tonight.
The look in Peter's eyes after he told Derek he may be able heal Cora using his powers as an alpha was so slyly sinister I wanted to crawl into Peter's brain to understand exactly what he was thinking. Did he want Scott as the new alpha? Did he want to take Derek's place and...

Teen Wolf Episode 306
“Motel California”
Written and Directed By: Christian Taylor
Original Airdate: 8 July 2013
In This Episode...
In 1977, a badly-injured man checks into a divey motel called the Glen Capri. He has just been bitten by a werewolf, and tonight is the full moon. As his eyes glow, he shoots himself in the head with a shot gun. The camera pans down - the man is named Alexander Argent.
Over 35 years later, the Beacon Hills bus pulls into the Glen Capri. The traffic jam caused the kids to need a place to crash, and this place was cheap and nearby. Weird things start to happen immediately. The werewolves are all acting weird, like they are in a trance. Lydia goes to the front office and asks about a sign with the number 198 on it. The manager explains that the Glen Capri has the dubious honor of having the most suicides...
