  Larry : [sarcastically]  Oh, that's a good reason.

• Corky : Tell me something, you guys, how come you were so sure I was innocent?

  Dotty : Oh, you couldn't be guilty.

  D.D. : You have curly hair.

  [giggles] 

  Corky : What?

  Larry : [chuckles]  Never mind, Corky. It's a... private joke.

  [Pepper's face blushes] 

• Dotty : [about their friend, Corky]  We have to pick him up. He lost his plane.

  D.D. : He lost his what?

  Dotty : That's only half of it.

  Larry : What's the other half?

  Pepper : Uh, I don't think you ought to ask that question.

  Dotty : He lost the airport!

• [Dotty arrives with the sheriff] 

  Dotty : Hi, everybody!

  Pepper : What are YOU doing out here?

  Dotty : Well, somebody had to show the sheriff where to come.

  Pepper : Dotty, he's the sheriff!

  D.D. : And he's been here before!

  Larry : [chuckles]  Okay, half-pint, just stay back where I can forget you're here.
