- [Nicky has just arrived home after spending several months touring the southern states of the USA. He and Mary go for a "walk" and are now making love on the beach. Nicky shouts out the name of each town as he thrusts]
- Nicky Hutchinson: Tupelo. Columbus.
- Mary Soulsby: I missed you so much.
- Nicky Hutchinson: Selma. Lafayette. Baton Rouge. And finally, Mary, finally...
- [Mary starts to laugh]
- Nicky Hutchinson: What?
- Mary Soulsby: [helpless with laughter] "Baton Rouge"?
- [exhausted, Nicky rolls off Mary]
- Nicky Hutchinson: Well, so would yours be!
- Nicky Hutchinson: D'you think we'll ever go all the way to New Orleans?
- Mary Soulsby: Yeah, we will. One day.
- Nicky Hutchinson: But in the meantime, Whitley Bay,
- Mary Soulsby: There's nothing wrong with Whitley Bay.
