The second part of The Lost Child is a very complex episode indeed, the pieces to the jigsaw had been laid out for all to put together previously, but the solution is so baffling, that I'm not sure anyone would have indeed contemplated it.
Who even is the lost child, is it the missing boy, or is it Nikki herself? Once again Nikki stands up for what she believes, not afraid to be the one person standing up saying she disagrees, I think it's that aspect of her character that makes her still so popular, she was terrific in this, along with Reece Dinsdale once again.
The single best scene has to be the one where Nikki confronts Eddie Stokes and explains his state of health, that was terrific.
Slightly less sombre then the first part, but this was terrific, gripping, intelligent and thought provoking, it's true you need to suspend disbelief somewhat, but I think they just about manage to make it plausible.
Excellent, 9/10
