A tough watch
Sleepin_Dragon17 October 2018
The Lost Child starts off in dramatic fashion, it develops into a very sinister, dark story, that at times is difficult to watch. Fortunately in recent years the show has featured fewer stories which focus around children, those that do are never easy viewing. I will however judge this on its merits. The main focus of this episode has to be Noel Hopkins, his role in proceedings, his past, his relationship with Nikki, and his seemingly truculent attitude and unwillingness to help. Reece Dinsdale is great in the part, arguably cast against type, he's always been such an amiable actor, with such a nice face, he proves here that he can do sinister very well.

I know it dates back to 2008, but I wouldn't be able to pass up commenting on the hairstyles, did all men really have floppy hair back then, Harry's looks terrible, as do Nikki's dark locks.

One of those episodes that gets under your skin, but it's so cleverly crafted that you have to return for the second discover exactly what happens. 8/10

Horror at a Boy's School
Hitchcoc26 March 2019
A cynical former science teacher and a boy found dead in the water are the focus of this episode. Nikki starts to obsess because she has an implicit trust in the guy. He once saved her life and created her interest in science. But his harshness makes people want to make him the perpetrator. But there is a second boy somewhere and abuse is at the center of things. A huge discovery is made a the end of the first half.
