sell your soul for a canapé.
ptb-819 February 2009
All I can say is that the after party must be some booze and food standout, because the actual content of this disgraceful mutilation festival is a deplorable exercise in movie screen cruelty... all served up to lifeless media slaves as a fun experience. I simply clearly find the idea of an awards ceremony displaying on screen movie mutilation as 'funny' or 'clever' a form of corporate insanity that defies belief. Instead of genuinely adding to the human experience we have in this abominable excuse to laugh at imagery of women and young men getting hacked to death... whilst the crowd cheers, then an award is handed out by some embarrassed 'celebrity'. What sort of sad stupid abattoir level excreta is this show? let alone the movies that feed the mindless and emotionless-ness of it all. This is actually organised by a strand of Hollywood that wants you to enjoy imagery of torture and mutilation as a fun experience. How vile. There is no excuse than to identify this and those responsible for the further degradation of the film industry in a pathetic attempt to corner a form of concentration camp horror as hilarious fun. To see cheering 20 somethings delight at arms being torn off and weapons being flung through the heads of beautiful women is a sad sight unknown in its depths of insane criminal cruelty. Just because a faceless soul-less corporation decides to present it as a party does not make it acceptable, funny or worth the time of anyone with a sense of humanity. The films celebrated and the awards themselves simply display a blatant form of vicious degradation and a form of mind molestation of impressionable teens and 20 somethings... just to have them become addicted to inhuman cruelty as 'fun'. We have laws against that so why not here? It is not OK, it is wrong. Again, corporate depravity at it's most shameless and calculated. It is the x rated torture form of the sex film industry. Avoid.
