Tom's suicide shocks everyone, but nobody knows why he's done it, meanwhile, a young witness may just hold the key.
I am loving this series, but it's fair to say that with many of these Adam Dalgliesh six part serials, there is a midway dip, and this is it. I am further away from knowing the killer's identity, as so many have fabricated alibis, but nobody seems to have clear motives for the murders, well maybe not one of the murders, but time will tell.
This serves to give us more depth to the characters, bit it's not until the very end that we get a segment which really does drive the story, and hopefully sets up a dramatic final two episodes.
The acting continues to be robust, Marsden is always great, but here, I really liked Tom Georgeson.
A little boring, but it's still pretty good, 6/10.
