Supergirl : [with her eyes frosted over] No. No. Nothing is.
Zor-El : No. You're just saying that because of what the Phantom did. We have to keep moving, get off this island. I know the mirror's broken, but your Earth family must be looking for you. If we get off this island, we just have to stay alive long enough for them to find us.
Supergirl : No. You don't understand. If they try to save me, they're all going to die. And it'll be my fault.

Zor-El : [spotting a crack in the ground growing larger] And then there's that. What do we do?
Supergirl : We fight. We never give up.
Zor-El : [seeing the Phantoms vanish in a burst of yellow light] What was that? And why do I feel... stronger?
Supergirl : That's yellow sun energy. Which means...
Zor-El : What is it?
Supergirl : [spotting the Tower] That's my family. They're really here!
Zor-El : See? You were always right to hope.
Supergirl : [taking his arm] Come on.
[she flies up to the ship]
Alex Danvers : [inside] Kara?
[speeding in, Kara hugs her]
Alex Danvers : I got you.

Zor-El : [improvising a crutch] Kara, look. Look at this. I made this because we're going to go on. We have to keep moving.
Supergirl : What's the point? There's no way out. You and Nyxly were right all along. And yet, I dragged you out of your one safe place and pushed you to hope... when there is none.
Zor-El : There's always hope.
Supergirl : Hope is naive. I was naive. And arrogant to think that I could ever actually fix anything. And worse... my friends think that they can, too. And they're just going to die because of it.
Zor-El : You can fix things. You did. You fixed me.
[brushing her hair out of her face]
Zor-El : I cried so many tears here. I cried for you. For your mother. For Krypton, my brother, my entire life... I cried for everyone I ever lost, all the people I loved and would never see again. I cried a river, an ocean of tears, until there was nothing left in me. Until you came and you filled me up with your spirit, your love. And now I won't give up again.
