In this episode Steve discovers that he has scoliosis and he has to wear a back brace for two months and of course he can't stand it. Stan gives him some advice and he says precisely ''it's the inside that counts''. After a tough day at school, Steve makes a shocking discovery: Stan is bald. Which makes Steve doubt of his father's advice. Stan then explains Steve that he had a problem with acne and he tried everything possible for getting rid of it but only before going to college he found a new acme treatment that cured him. Unfortunately, there was its collateral effect: losing lots of hair leaving him forever bald. Only after a long chase in the desert they will finally patch things up. In the meanwhile Haley, Francine and Roger go to a spa despite having only two passes (and Roger will hide in some very funny ways).
I liked mostly the spa sections in the episode as I doubted about Stan's morality in reassuring his son since it made Steve rush to the spa and telling Francine the truth. However it had its moments.
