Garry Miller: Hey. Place is desserted. Where is everybody?
Bec: Upstairs, I suspect. Defending their property with their lives.
Garry Miller: Sorry?
Bec: It's Charley's turn to do the vacuuming. You know what he's like. Anything left on the floor gets sucked into oblivion.
Garry Miller: He is pretty thorough.
Bec: "Thorough" hardly describes it. I'm just glad I'm not a dust mite when he's around.
[vacuuming sounds]
Garry Miller: Hell.
Bec: What?
Garry Miller: He'll be doing my room next. I better get up there.
[races up the stairs to his room]
