Another worth watching trailer that appeared recently was this one for a film called The Whistleblower, starring Rachel Weisz as well as Monica Bellucci, Vanessa Redgrave, David Strathairn, David Hewlett and Liam Cunningham. It's another one of those political-action films that's based on real events that occurred in Bosnia. It looks pretty intense and actually like it might be good, so I'm interested in watching it. There's even some uncensored language in it, so make sure the kids are in bed first. I also suggest watching this full screen on YouTube since the quality is pretty bad. I'm definitely keeping an eye out for this. Watch below! Watch this early promo trailer for Larysa Kondracki's The Whistleblower: A policewoman risks her job and her safety to uncover a scandal involving the U.N. in post-war Bosnia. The Whistleblower is directed by filmmaker Larysa Kondracki, of only a Serbian film called Viko previously.

One month, 280 films and 70,000 words later, my guide to the films of 2010 is now complete. I hope you've enjoyed reading it all - it's been utterly exhausting but an ultimately rewarding venture I've been single-handedly pulling together since early December. If you have liked it, my only request is that you help spread the word about it now that it's all done.
If you're a fellow blogger or site owner, please give it a plug on your site. If you're a reader, give it a mention on Facebook, Twitter or other online places you might venture. A lot of effort went into this, the greatest reward so far has been seeing it talked about and hearing your reactions. I'm glad many of you have gotten a lot of use out of the previous pages, so I hope you enjoy this final part:

Words of wisdom for anyone who should ever start up their own movie website: any story that has potential for a dirty title is always worth writing. Which brings me to the fact that Rachel Weisz has been tapped to star in an independent political drama called The Whistleblower. According to Variety, the film will be based on a true story that follows the trials of a female cop from Nebraska who serves as a peacekeeper in a post-war Bosnia and exposes a United Nations cover-up of a sex trafficking scandal. Larysa Kondracki -- whose short film Viko recently debuted at the Newport Beach Film Festival -- will make her feature film debut with a script that she co-wrote with Ellis Kirwin. If this film follows suit with Kondracki's work on Viko, I would estimate that it could be a very dark, haunting sort of film. And Rachel Weisz, as you know, is...
